Spellbound

Description: Spellbound, a trip into a world of fantasy, details the sexual desires of two shy and relatively inexperienced singles. Both of them (especially Frankie Leigh) have hot dreams about wild, uninhibited bedpartners. In one particularly imaginative sequence, Leigh is having a lesbian encounter while fantasizing about the stud-like Rick Savage, whose presence is skillfully intercut directly into the action.
In reality, Savage plays a chauvinistic roommate who dispenses myriads of useless advice to his friend on how to pick up women. Despite their initial shyness, Leigh and her stud finally hook up with a romantic and tender shower of love -- quite literally -- in the stall.
Despite the wafer thin plot, and a purely arbitrary sex scene with Jerry Butler to pad it out, Spellbound is still worth while for some nice eroticism and its pro-romance theme.
